Introduction of the group:

Our group aim is to conduct research on psychometric problems encountered in educational psychology and share developments in psychometrics that can be used to advance measurement in applied and research settings.

Assessing M2 and RMSEA2 of Multidimensional Item Response Theory Models

This simulation study aimes to investigate the performance of M2 and RMSEA2 for polytomous data under multidimensional models. M2 was found to have normal Type I error rates and unstable power. We hope to enlighten applied researchers on the usage of M2 and RMSEA2 when data is multidimensional and polytomous.
