Research Activities

Transformers are critical components in power grids. Transformers may be overloaded and also have losses. This research studies transformer losses and temperature rise under different load levels. This research also studies the characteristics of amorphous transformers as well as regular steel core transformers.
This research uses the ANSYS software, which is very computationally extensive. So, we request to use the supercomputer resources.
