Gemini (NAS) Storage

Gemini is a network-attached storage (NAS) system designed for long-term research data storage.

Access is available only to research groups that have purchased storage through the Research Condo Storage Program.



When to Use Gemini Storage

Use Gemini storage for:

  • long-term project data retention

  • large datasets that must persist beyond job execution

  • shared storage within a research group

  • data that does not require high-performance parallel I/O

Do not use Gemini for:

  • running compute jobs

  • temporary job output

  • high-performance scratch workloads
