About the Morgan Compute Cluster
MCC, named after Thomas Hunt Morgan (Nobel in Medicine), entered production in August 2021 and is designed to support research workloads requiring high-performance CPU resources.
The system includes AMD EPYC processors based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture.
These processors provide high core counts and memory bandwidth suitable for scientific computing, data analysis, and large-scale simulations.
