CS 611 Res in Computer Science

We are currently reviewing machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems in healthcare, including, but not limited to the following research projects:

  1. Predicting early Alzheimer’s disease using EEG dataset
  2. Predicting extubation readiness for preterm infants


In this research, we are going to utilize any available (and a possibility to create new) machine learning libraries to investigate the listed projects above.


We are going to use several programming languages, including but not limited to:

Python, R, and Java.  We are also going to use any available Python machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
